WELCOME, TO STEPANAVAN

Stepanavan is known for its mountain air, forests, and quiet natural beauty. In Soviet times it was one of Armenia’s most loved health resorts, where people came to rest and breathe fresh air.

Yet Stepanavan is more than nature.

For generations Armenians, Russians, and Georgians lived here together, shaping the town’s culture and character. Later, in 1946, Armenian repatriates from abroad added new stories and traditions to the city.

Stepanavan carries the name of Stepan Shahumyan, who held some of his earliest secret meetings in the nearby Major’s Canyon. For many Armenians, he symbolized not only revolution but also the dream of a stronger Armenia.

Today the town remains calm and welcoming — a place where life moves slowly and people hold a deep love for their home.

Dining

We tried to keep the best traditions of boutique hotels and therefore we created a small restaurant serving great food.

Cuisine is our passion and we pay attention to details. Our chiefs carry out observations and create new dishes from ingredients that are grown and processed in Stepanavan. We also offer some traditional european dishes. On the 1st floor we have a small wine room where we offer a big variety of Armenian and European wines.
